This week's Top Ten Tuesday is held over at The Broke and the Bookish. The topic of this week is 'Top Ten Books on my Summer TBR' and I'm excited for this one. It's gonna be hard.
A Court of Thorns and Roses: Hello! It's Sarah J. Maas? Of course I need to read this.
P.S. I Still Love You: I've been desperate for this since I read To All The Boys I've Loved Before in January and it's getting harder and harder for me to wait for it - as soon as it's released I'm running out and buying it.
99 Days: Absolutely. Need.
Amy and Rogers Epic Detour: If I don't read at least one Road Trip book this summer then I will have failed myself.
Breathe, Annie, Breathe: Everyone who has read this book has seemed to love it so that makes me want to read it.
Fire With Fire: I just finished Burn for Burn and if you've read Burn for Burn then you'll know that I need to read this. ASAP.
I'll Meet You There: It just sounds so cute and fluffy and funny and that is what summer reading is all about.
My Life Next Door: If I go another month without even buying this then I don't know what I'm doing with my life.
Angelfall: A few book bloggers may have completely convinced be to read this. The last book, I believe, is being released this year as well so it's the perfect opportunity for me to read it.
Graceling: Sometimes I get sick of contemporary, sometimes I need books with dagger's on the cover. Don't judge me.
I read PS I Still Love You a few weeks ago, and I LOVED it. It picks up right where To All the Boys I've Loved Before left off, which is especially satisfying.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your summer reading!!
My Top Ten Tuesday post.
I finished it a few weeks ago too and I wasn't totally crazy on it. I still loved it, don't get me wrong but it just didn't give me the same feeling that TATBILB did. And I felt that Jenny was determined to make Peter the bad guy which broke my heart.
DeleteACOTAR is a must read for myself as well except I'm reading The Assassin's Blade right now so it'll probably have to wait a month once I've fully recovered from Celaena feels because Y'KNOW.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you haven't read Amy & Roger yet. YOU MUST. It's on my TBR as well just because it's about time I reread it and also you're so right, summer is not summer without a road trip book in the mix.
I liked Fire with Fire 100000x more than Burn for Burn so hopefully you end up enjoying it as well. And I am not judging you for Graceling at all, it's on my list as well. I have both Graceling and Fire actually so like I SHOULD HAVE READ IT BY NOW but alas, I suck so...
Anyway a solid list you have here. Happy reading and have a GRRRRREAT summer!
Annie x
I hope you love ACOTAR! I thought it was great but not as great as ToG, IMO.
DeleteAmy & Roger is on my shelf staring at me and I keep getting tempted to pick it up but I'm already in the middle of three books. Ouch.
EEEEEEEEE. THIS MAKES ME EXCITED.
Have a great summer also, Annie! x
ACOTAR has been getting mixed responses, but I personally LOVED everything about it. Angelfall is great, but make sure you are in the mood for something dark, gritty and bloody :) Graceling is good, but I loved Fire even more!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :D
I loved ACOTAR but to me it just didn't live up to expectations (they were pretty high) and ToG has to take the reign on this one. I adored Feyre though (AND RHYSAND UFBEGIUBF)
DeleteOkay, I approve of ALL OF THESE books except the ones I haven’t read - Fire With Fire and Graceling. All the rest are fantastic (minus ACOTAR because it wasn't my fave)!
ReplyDeleteSOOO EXCITED.
DeleteAh, so many good books on your list! I'll Meet Your There is so well-written; it's heart-wrenching, layered, and contemporary YA at its finest. Fire with Fire is an absolute must-read, especially if you just finished Burn for Burn! Breathe, Annie, Breathe is adorable, as is Amy and Roger's Epic Detour - I have no doubt you'll enjoy both. Happy reading, and have a lovely summer! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
