TTT #2 - Recently Added To My TBR.

As always Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at The Broke and The Bookish. This weeks prompt is 'Books you've recently added to your To-Be-Read list'. I've been trying to not add as many books to my TBR recently because it's already looking pretty hefty but these are some books that I absolutely could not forget about.

I will probably make another post in the future when I have more books to show you guys but for now I thought it would interesting if you got to see the flip side of my book shelf (aka the books riiiiiight at the back).

Basically, I wanted to review Siege and Storm but I didn't have much to say about Siege and Storm so I'm writing a whole post so I can talk about Siege and Storm.

Reading Challenges And The Challenges That Come With Them.

Okay...It's a little more difficult than I imagined. This is the first year that I'm doing a reading challenge and I really, REALLY don't want to fail but I feel like it is putting pressure on my reading and not necessarily in a good way. I'm not going to quit the challenges, I'm not one to quit halfway but there is something I need to address and ask you guys? Maybe? It's a tiny favour.

Things That Make My Feminist Heart Beat A Little Faster.

I am a huge feminist. I think at this point, that shouldn't even come as a surprise. For the past few weeks I've seen people posting about their favourite Heroines and I wanted to join in but I decided to put a little spin on it and instead give you some things that make me, as a feminist, very happy. I would go on to talk about my opinions on the topic in more detail but we don't have that much time in the world and I'm not the most literate or concise person out there so I'll hand you over to my friend Georgia who wrote this wonderful post and I am going to agree with her and say Yes! Let's commercialise Feminism.

Nostalgia Book Tag

I was tagged by Georgia @ Giordizzle to do the Nostalgia Book Tag which is a tag that she created herself. I'm excited to do this one but since I can't remember a lot of the books I read when I was younger I'm going to have to divert a little from (I think) what she intended and go for when I was a pre-teen/early teenager.

One of my favourite things about reading books is reading the dedications and getting a glimpse into who has either influenced the story in some way or who is important to the author. I saw a video like this on YouTube so I wanted to take apart my bookshelves and share with you all some of my favourite dedications.

Taylor Swift Book Tag: Again.

Thanks to Kayla @ The Thousand Lives for tagging me! A while ago on this blog I did the Taylor Swift Book Tag and I had a whale of a time. Obviously, I'm here to do it again today. There's no real reason behind this except for the fact that I love Taylor Swift and I was tagged to do it again (it would just be rude of me to ignore the fact that I'd been tagged right?). I'm going to do the version that Kayla did (with the tracks from 1989) to change it up a bit. God, I'm excited.
