20 Things You Didn't Know About Me

Saturday, 18 October 2014

It's Saturday night, I've spent the day cleaning my bedroom when I decide to check my blog feed and guess what I see? A fabulous tag floating around. So, that's what you'll (hopefully - unless you've come to the sudden realisation that you don't want to waste precious minutes reading facts about a teenage girl who spends her time fawning over pretty boys) be reading today.

1. How tall are you?

I am around 5'3/5'4 (pretty short)

2. Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?

Unless the amount of tea I consume in a day is considered a 'talent' then...no.

3. What is your biggest blog related pet peeve?

People posting pretty pictures of their books. It's more of a jealousy thing that I can't (honestly really truly can't) get a good shot of my books.

4. What is your biggest non blog related pet peeve?

I have a few: people chewing so that I can hear the food in their mouth, people talking during a movie, people who put a movie/tv show on and then don't watch it, people who act superior because they aren't 'mainstream'.

5. What is your favourite song?

I have two absolute favourites and both for entirely different reasons!

Stop Crying Your Heart Out - Oasis
Somewhere in Neverland - All Time Low

6. What's your favourite Etsy shop that's not yours?

I don't have an Etsy shop, for one. Other than that I don't have a favourite! I browse Etsy a lot but I refuse to order from any stores that aren't in the UK so I can't narrow it down to one store - It depends on what I'm buying.

7. What's your favourite way to spend your free time when you're alone?

Mine and my families schedule works out that I'm home alone quite a lot so I generally do everything that I don't get to do when we're all together - write blog posts, online shopping (it's a great way to waste time), tidying up, reading (I get most of my reading done when my sister is at work and my mum is as football because I don't have anyone to distract me).

8. Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?

I have a cat called Angel! She's the second out of three cats that I've ever had and about the fourth type of animal that I've had!

I've had fish, rabbits, hamsters and a dog (according to my sister, but I don't seem to remember it).

9. What's your favourite type of junk food?

I don't have a favourite type - sometimes I enjoy savoury snacks: pretzels, cheese twists, crisps, nachos, popcorn and sometimes I prefer sweets: chocolate, candy (especially skittles), cakes etc but I've been trying to cut down on junk food lately so I restrict it to weekends when I'm watching the x factor with my mum and it's usually whatever we can find in the house really.

10. What are your number one favourite fiction and non-fiction books?

There is no way you'll get an answer for this one. Non-fiction wise I really like feminist books and books about philosophy (which huge passions and interests of mine) and now and again I'll read an autobiography. In terms of fiction I can't remember that last time I read a contemporary that I didn't enjoy...

11. What's your favourite beauty product?

Well a good foundation, concealer and powder is always a must. I also wouldn't be able to live without mascara, eyeliner and red lipstick...but then bath bombs and lush in general is such a huge weakness of mine - this question is that of the devil.

12. When were you last embarassed? What happened?

Yesterday I met up with two friends of mine and one of them told me that they read my blog (Hi, Georgia if you're reading) so that was pretty embarassing because she's the first person that I know in real life whose read it.

Being awkward also makes for some pretty interesting scenarios so I could be here all day explaining them to you.

13. If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I LOVE dr pepper....but in the interests of my teeth and not getting diabetes I'd say tea. Good old fashioned, English breakfast tea.

14. What's your favourite movie?

Too many movies, not enough time.

15. What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep etc,?

Cliques didn't exist in my school - I was just the person I thought I wanted to be at that age.

16. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?

I want to live in a lot of places for a short amount of time - new york, brighton, canada but I think I'll end up moving back to London because that's where all of my family are.

17. PC or Mac?

I've always had a PC but Macs are pretty cool.

18. Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boyfriend/girlfriend?

HAHAHAHA

19. Favourite Celeb?

Too many...

20. What blogger do you secretly want to be best friends with?

ALL OF THEM

  1. Love English breakfast tea! I get Tazo English breakfast for a dollar during lunch most days at school and it's actually the best thing on Earth. So so yummy!

  2. 'Tea consuming' is a talent to me, because I hate tea and I can't understand that people drink it :p Haha, people who make those beautiful pictures on their blog make me a little jealous too, but you got to practice in order to get better right? :D Online shopping is the best, even when a lot of times I just put things in my cart without buying it, haha.

    1. Hahaha! Surprisingly, I don't know a lot of people who don't drink tea - it must be a British thing. Damn living up to stereotypes.

When I online shop I hardly ever buy what I add to my cart! I'm usually like 'oh, I'll leave it there and place the order when I have money' but when I finally have the money I rarely like anything that I put in there initially and I tend to question my taste in clothes quite a lot hahaha x
